On August 25, we held our
annual City Kids Festival at
Juilliard Park.
2,000 boys and
girls came for the day, partly
to get ready for school and
partly just to celebrate!
Thanks to our supporters’
generosity, we were able to
give away over
10,000 books,
plus
every child got a backpack
stuffed full with everything
they need for school.
The kids—who mostly come
from poor working families—
