Homeless Shelter
101 6th Street
Downtown Santa Rosa

Our homeless shelter for men is also the place where we hold Chapel Services 7 days a week, 365 days a year at 6:00 pm. These services are open to both men and women who are coming for a hot meal and a place to sleep. Women who need overnight accommodations must report here to the Men's Mission in order to secure a place to sleep at The Rose, our women's shelter in Santa Rosa. Our evening shelter schedule is as follows:

5:00 pm - Women report to the Men's Mission for check-in
5:30 pm - Dinner for women only
6:00 pm - Chapel Service
7:00 pm - Dinner for Men
8:00 pm - Men check-in

Men's Shelter Details

In addition to the basics of food, clothing, shelter, showers and shaves, the Mission provides men with several types of services. All guests are interviewed by a Case Manager within 48 hours of arriving at the Men's Center, and are given detailed information about our programs and other local resource centers. After 10 nights, if the guest is interested in making serious changes in his life, the Mission offers two program options.

New Life Program
A life-changing program of 10 to 14 months.  More ...

Work Search Program
Designed for men who are not chemically dependant, but homeless for a variety of other reasons. The program offers:

    A 30-day bed
    Job Counseling
    Support Services

When the guest finds full time employment, we extend their stay long enough for him to save money for transitional housing.

Each of these programs provides many opportunities to volunteer.
