Thank you for bringing Real Change to Life!

2007 was a record year for the Redwood Gospel Mission, because your compassion enabled us to care for more people than ever before! And because each meal and night of shelter came in the context of Christ’s redeeming love, your gifts led many to Real Change and a better future. In fact, we had 25 graduates from our long-term recovery programs last year, the most ever!

Last year, generous friends like you served over 100 thousand good, nutritious meals to hungry men, women, and children in our community. It’s im- possible to tell you just how much hope those meals provided!

You answered the call!

Did you get a phone call from us last summer? During a particularly tough financial season, we called about 5,000 of our ministry partners to ask for help—and you responded in a big way! Altogether, $51,000 came in from those we called, enabling us to maintain excellent service to the poor and homeless throughout the summer and fall. We praise God every day for giving us such wonderful friends!

You also gave 39,155 safe beds to folks who would otherwise have had to sleep out on the streets. Your gift of a clean place to sleep restored the dignity of hundreds of men and women.

Real change starts with a life-transforming relationship with God, and you gave 21,883 people the opportunity to build that relationship through devotions and Bible studies this year.

The City Kids Festival and a variety of other outreach events during the year showed our community that the Mission really cares — and so do you. Thank you again for all your support!

The seal marks the Mission for inclusion in the Combined Federal Campaign, probably the most exclusive fund drive in the world.
