Great Thanksgiving
Banquet 2021

Redwood Gospel Mission's Great Thanksgiving Banquet will be returning to the Sonoma County Fairground this year.

 This has been a vital part of our community outreach for over 20 years. We will follow local COVID-19 protocols and make adjustments for the health and safety of others. This year there will be a Chapel Service, Hot Turkey Meal, Activities, Food Distribution for families that pre-registered, and more.

  • Donate a frozen Turkey @ 101 6th Street, Santa Rosa by Tuesday, November 23rd.

  • Donate a Pumpkin pie (Costco preferred) @ 101 6th Street, Santa Rosa on Monday, November 22nd or Tuesday, November 23rd.  

  • Donate a coat or host a coat drive.

    • Coats can be dropped off at Redwood Gospel Mission Thrift Store: Donation Drop-Off at 1821 Piner Road between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. There will be a donation barrel specifically for coats.

Wednesday, November 24th


Registration to receive a Turkey and Food box is full. We are unable to accommodate any additional registrations. 


  • For Families who did not pre-register and would like to receive a Turkey and a Food Box: Families should check in at the Guest Welcome area in Garrett for the 4:30pm Chapel Service in E.C. Kraft Hall. We cannot guarantee turkeys at the event for those who did not pre-register.

  • Anyone is welcome to come to the Chapel Service. 


Registration is not required to attend the event. Activities that are open to the public from 11am – 6pm include A warm Thanksgiving Meal, Coat Distribution, Community Service provider booths, activities, and a Chapel Service.  



“Gran Banquete de Acción de Gracias” de Redwood Gospel Mission


El evento se realizará el Miércoles 24 de Noviembre.

No es necesario inscribirse para asistir al evento. Las actividades están abiertas al público en general  de 11 AM hasta las 6 PM. Incluyen: 

  1. Comida de Acción de Gracias, 

  2. Distribución gratuita de abrigos y chamarras (jackets), 

  3. Kioskos de Servicios Comunitarios, actividades y un 

  4. Servicio de la Palabra de Dios en la Capilla.


  • Las inscripciones para recibir una caja de alimentos y un pavo está llena. No podemos inscribir a ningúna familia adicional.


  • Para las familias que no se pre-inscribieron y quisieran recibir un pavo y una caja de alimentos, deberan chequearse en el área de Bienvenida para invitados que es el pabellon Garrett para luego entrar al Servicio de la Capilla de las 4:30 pm en el pabellon E.C. Kraft Hall. 


  • Es muy importante esto: NO podemos GARANTIZAR PAVOS Y CANASTA DE ALIMENTOS para aquellos que no se preinscribieron.

The Great Thanksgiving Turkey Smoke: 

Five businesses and groups will be partnering with us for our 2nd annual Turkey Smoke. Turkeys will be served at the Great Thanksgiving Banquet.


Turkey Smokers Businesses & Groups Include: 

·  Charlie’s BBQ*

·  Guy Fieri

·  Keith's BBQ Beast*

·  Mendocino BBQ Catering

·  Sweet T’s Restaurant*

*Indicates Businesses or Groups, who will be smoking turkeys for the event at different locations.

2 ways to participate:

1) Donate a frozen turkey. KZST will be join with a turkey drop-off drive. These will be given out to families who have preregistered to receive a turkey and food box.

2) Volunteer. See volunteer section above.
