Free parking is available across the street from the Brookwood and Bennet Valley entrances.

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your schedule shift.
Volunteer Check-In and Check-Out:

For Saturday, November 19th- 8am-12pm Volunteer Check-In in Grace Pavilion & 12pm-4pm in Showcase Cafe.

Wednesday, November 23rd Volunteer Check-In and Check-out will be located in Showcase Cafe.
Important Event Day Information
GREAT THANKSGIVING BANQUET 2022: EVENT DAY INFORMATION
Thank you for participating in this year’s Great Thanksgiving Banquet on Wednesday, November 23rd at Sonoma County Fairgrounds. Guests may ask you questions about the event. We hope these notes help.
1) COVID-19 Safety Measures:

Masks are encouraged indoors but not required.
2) Map & Program:
-
A map and program are available as you come in through gates #2 and #4, Garrett Hall at the Guest Welcome Area, Grace Pavilion at our hospitality table, and Showcase Cafe at Volunteer Check-Out.
3) Activity Booths and Warm Turkey Meal:
-
·All activities are free of charge and open to everyone (no need to be registered). Activity booths will run from 11am to 6:30 pm. Warm Turkey Meal (Finley Hall) will be served from 11am to 6:30 pm.
4) Grounds & Safety:
-
A team of volunteers from the Christian Motorcycle Association will be roaming the park wearing glow green safety vests with “Safety” on back. If you have safety concerns, please locate one of them for assistance.
5) Bathrooms:
-
Located in Garrett Hall, Finley Hall and Grace Pavilion.
6) First Aid, Information and Lost and Found:
-
For First Aid, General Information or Lost and Found items, please visit the hospitality booth in Grace Pavilion. First Aid is also available in Finley Hall.
7) Turkeys and Food Box (11am-6:30pm):
-
For families who pre-registered: Families should check in at the Guest Welcome area in Garrett Hall. Families are scheduled every 45 minutes from 10:30am – 4:30pm. There is a Chapel Service in E.C. Kraft. After the service, they will receive a stamp on their “Buck”, which can then be redeemed at Food Distribution in Grace Pavilion. Guests must present “Buck Coupon” in order to receive their turkey and food bag.

For Families who did not pre-register and would like to receive a Turkey and a Food Box: Families should check in at the Guest Welcome area in Garrett for the 5:15 pm Chapel Service in E.C. Kraft Hall. Families will receive a raincheck to pick up a turkey and food box after the service if there are enough quantities on hand. If there are not enough quantities, Guests will be given a raincheck to pick up a turkey and food box the following week. We cannot guarantee turkeys at the event for those who did not pre-register.

Anyone is welcome to come to the Chapel Service.
8) General Information:

Volunteers can identify area managers by their orange vests.

At the end of your shift, please visit volunteer check-out in Showcase Cafe, we want to hear about your experience. We also have a gift for you.

Please feel free to stay for a meal in Finley Hall after your shift.

Bottled waters for volunteers are located at Showcase Café at the volunteer check-out area.
9) Hospitality Team:
-
Wheelchair shuttle service is available at the Brookwood and Bennett Valley Gate. Wheelchairs will not be loaned out.
