Coach and Teacher Informational Meeting

The Redwood Gospel Mission invites you to learn about how you can help transform lives through the grace and power of Jesus Christ by being a Coach or a Teacher in our New Life Program for men and in our New Life Program for women at Manna Home.

 

The New Life Program is a Christ-centered ministry to help those with life controlling issues obtain freedom.  We believe healthy, supportive relationships are key to a member’s success.  Each program member is assigned a team who walks alongside him or her, providing encouragement and accountability.

No experience is needed.

 

As a Christ-centered program, Teachers and Coaches are required to sign our Statement of Faith. RGM has many other volunteer opportunities that do not require a Statement of Faith.

Statement of Faith

  1. We believe the Bible to be the inspired, only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
     

  2. We believe there is only one God, eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
     

  3. We believe in the deity of Christ, in His birth through the Virgin Mary, in His sinless life, in His miracles,
     

  4. In His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
     

  5. We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful men, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
     

  6. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling, the Christian is enabled to lead a godly life.
     

  7. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, that those who are saved enjoy eternal life with God and those who are lost suffer eternal separation from him. 
     

  8. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
